God's Amazing Grace

Jonathan Weaver, Karis West and I visited with a young mother on Sunday morning. Initially, she appeared uninterested, but we could tell she was listening. We continued to share with her. When we came to the point of explaining how we came to know of God's amazing gift of complete and eternal forgiveness, we saw her attention become more focused on what we were saying. We prayed for her and asked if she would like to receive God's forgiveness she said yes, but still had a sad look on her face. After we opened our eyes from her prayer, we could literally see a complete difference in her appearance. We all had goose-bumps all over. The three of us walked away from the encounter changed ourselves. You can't leave a situation like this and not be affected in a huge way. For everyone in our church, please consider going on a mission trip. It will literally change your life as well as those you minister to.

Hey guys - just read the blog (thanks Kim Britton!!); it's so great to hear all about what is going on. Tim has been excited over the phone; but misses me horribly :) We are praying for you all. Can't wait to see everyone. Need a picture of Sara Buster with Tim's phone calling HOME :) Love you all - Joy & Ashlyn
